Good results would mean compatible. I have a tiny bit left of the prestine clean, maybe some distilled water might help stretch it out with good results?

Hello all. Quick question. Can I use a different leather cleaner other than pristine clean after using name rejuvenating oil? I have some Wolfgang leather cleaner still around but am out of pristine clean. Would this be OK, or would I simply wind up undoing the work I'm trying to do? Thanks

Thanks for the help so far guys. I'd like to add that this is a black car. The sanding marks are very random. Like at the edge of a panel that got worked/painted. So say the fender got painted there are slight sanding marks onto the leading edge of the doors. Maybe about 2 inches from the edge...

A little late on this, but tguil is correct. There is a texture on the bumpers/flares that does not get sanded smooth before paint at the factory. These areas will always look like this unless you decide to pay a body shop to sasnd all the paint off and smooth out the flares/bumpers and repaint.

Now that I'm semi moved in its time to get crackin. Thanks to all who contacted me or gave reputable suggestions. If theres any more good reputable detailers dont hesitate to post. ;)

Ok So Im back with an update. :) I came back to the rubber trim with 3 different cleaner/solvents to get this overspray off. 1st one was run of the mill nail polish acetone, 2nd one was goo gone, third one was goof off. The best results were with goof off, followed by the acetone, and goo...

lol yeah will definately post up when I get it back from the shop if I figure something out. That dye seems like a good product but I'm afarid the trim would be nice and dark and the white overspray would stand out even more if it doesnt take the dye. :eek:

Agree with the previous post about German brake pads. Unfortunately they are of a softer compound which stops well in colder climates but dusts like crazy. A ceramic compound pad would in part cut down on that problem to where it would take 2-3 weeks tobdevelop the same amount of dust you do...

Thank you Where did you purchase it? Local home depot/lowes etc? This is my own personal car I'm working on and don't want to add more work to the cleanijg process, and keep looking at its best. :D
