What's your can't-miss approach for salt in carpet?

I give the spots a good brush to loosen it and vacuum. Then I'll take a rinseless wash solution thay leaves nothing behind (N914) or similar. Take a microfiber cloth, dampen with solution and scrub the stains and let dry. I've also used resolve, dawn dishwasher liquid (use very little) or...

    Sonax BSD

I have used it on top of other wax and sealants. I haven't tried it on a ceramic. BSD alone gives 3 or so months of protection.

Do you still use a sealant?

Just to add every time I want to recoat my vehicle and polish out scratches there is rain in the forecast. Something you don't have to worry about what feelings or spray on coating lite/sealant that may not have the long cure time.

    Sonax BSD

I still think Sonax BSD is one of the best most underrated products. Will easily last your 3 to 6 months, easy to apply, darkens your paint/fills light scratches, a little goes a long way, insane hydrophobics on paint and trim (meh on glass). I think Sonax PNS, followed up with a BSD is a...

Do you still use a sealant?

I'll do use them to finish up my stockpile. They are easier to apply and less prep/more forgiving than a ceramic coating. Some of the sealants tend to fill in and hide some scratches/swirls too.

Wheel Well tools of choice ?

How do you guys handle wheel wells with minimal space due to lowered or factory low suspension? I use the Speedmaster wheel brushes from here. But some wheel wells and backsides of wheels destroy my hands and arms. On that note, how do you guys dress the cleaned wheel wells? I've been using...

How to prepare for long road trip?

What do toy currently have on the car? I'd atleast clean prep and ceramic coat all the windows. I clay, use eraser or isopropyl alcohol and then apply CMX. Helps tremendously in snow/rain. I'd keep some rinseless/waterless wash or a quick detailer and MF towels. Usually ech2o in a spray bottle...

How should I remove a bird bomb here?

A couple rules I always follow. 1) Use the least aggressive method first and work up in order of aggressiveness. 2) For trouble areas I work a small test area to see what combination works. I'd fins the proper combo that works on the trim and then use on the headlights. Especially since...

How should I remove a bird bomb here?

Congrats on the new car, sorry about those bird bombs. What soap or quick detailers do you have? I would try working the trim first. If you have a rinsless wash or a quick detailer, saturate the area and get a damp microfiber and leave it on the stain to wet it. Then use aa damp microfiber and...

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

Forensic and Mike are the 2 I watch. There's one more guy too, Sandoz maybe? I appreciate thier honest and straightforward videos and no shill attitude. To add, I just tried the Gloss Shops Sublime rinseless and it was very nice. Worked well to remove grime for a rinseless wash. It is similar...
