    WG twins VS M105/M205

I've only machine polished a few times, but I had better luck with 105 than TSR. My paint had hologramming done by a buff job from a body shop. I tried TSR and it was better, but plenty of swirls remained. Switching to 105 did the trick, then finished up with FG. Turned out really well.

    Pressure washer tips

I've always had good results using a pressure washer. As long as your smart about it and don't get too close. It also works great for getting under the car. Here in MN, there is a lot of salt and dirt on the roads in the winter, and it's nice to get that grime off every now and then.

First Swirl Removing Experience with PC 7424XP

Anyone dealt with these "spots" in the clear? Can't feel them and the best time to see them is under flourescent lighting. Just don't want to spend hours trying to correct them if it won't happen. ????

First Swirl Removing Experience with PC 7424XP

Thanks Mike. I was closer to the 3 sq ft but it is really just an estimate. I will try shrinking my work area. As far as the spotting under flouresent lighting, the twins really don't seem to do much to this. Am I wasting my time trying to go more aggressive? And, is 105 overkill for this...

First Swirl Removing Experience with PC 7424XP

I have have recently come across this same problem as you drmayer. In my case, I used the pc with the wolfgang twins. Starting with the cyan hydrotech and the swirl remover. I did the section passes as the video's show covering roughly 3-4 sq ft at a time. Then changed to the tangerine and...

Correcting a Body Shop buff job

Guys, I feel as though I am beating a dead horse here so I apologize in advance. Please give me your feedback (even critizism). I have been thinking about this issue day and night and likely have OCD. Unhappy with the quality of the work, and wanting to inform the shop about how I felt about...

Correcting a Body Shop buff job

Thanks for the comments everyone. Mike - Wow, the story of the 3 H's is how I feel exactly. I spoke with a friend of mine that does body work, but also knows how to polish. After I emailed him these Pics, he called 5 mins later - "I'd have to really be pissed at someone to do that to their...

Correcting a Body Shop buff job

In addition, I placed an order for wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant and deep gloss spritz along with a few other products through AG. The order was placed before I saw the inadaquet buffing job, so it didn't include any buffing compounds. I will need to buy these. Is Meguires UC enough with...

Correcting a Body Shop buff job

Hi guys. Sorry to make my first post a "I need help" plea. It is the standard poor buffing with holograming in the paint. No real serious damage to the finish, but needs to be corrected. I am at the point that I think if I want this done right, I feel I need to do it myself. Here are a couple...
