    My insurance will only cover if cracked anywhere, or some reasonably serious damage is in line-of-sight. And I'm sure the adjuster would be quite strict once he looks up the price for a replacement. But again, it's likely to get pitted again in a fairly rapid fashion. I had a possible...

    Maserati. Only supplier is OEM. Oddly enough, the paint seems much tougher than the windshield. Some road rash on the nose, but not real bad.... Hans.

    Wolfgang Uber SiO2 Coating Wash - On Black Trim?? Reviving recent thread.... We have a GMC Acadia that has matte black plastic trim along the bottom and over the wheel wells. Is it OK to use the Wolfgang SiO2 wash on these parts? Regular waxes and coatings have left a chalky white-ish...

    Newbie here. I've been watching this thread with interest. Question: It seems most (all?) of you are either using this wash on a non-coated finish, or one that has been ceramic coated. What about using it on a car that has either carnauba or a synthetic wax like FK1000? Thanks, Hans.
