    What's everyone's thoughts on the Covid-19 situation?

A beaucoup of hospitals around the U.S. have had to move to "crisis care standards" because of all the COVID-45 patients. For the deniers, that means that hospitals are having to severely ration their medical care and prioritize patient treatments based solely on their chance of survival. Not...

    What's everyone's thoughts on the Covid-19 situation?

BS & disinformation. We have had multiple diseases virtually eliminated via vaccine ... until anti-vaxxers ruined it. Measles was declared eliminated from the U.S. in 2000. Now it has lost that designation. Gee, wonder why ... Oh, right, Fauci & Co. caused all this. More BS. FACTS : 1...

I now have my detailing Everest

Oh I don't know about that, at least not all the shows. Iron Resurrection has esp. had some strong builds ... blown big block stuffed in to a Vega wagon that had been chopped ... and probably one of the best restos of a 70's Firebird you'll ever see, incl. Joe hand-painting the screaming eagle...

    303 Graphene @ 3 months (abused) + Griots PFM 25 x 35 towel

Welcome to the PFM club. Next you need to add the 16 x 16 PFMs to your arsenal for the little touchups and tight spots when drying .... like the grille, etc., as you noted above (but not for the door jambs). At 2 for $20, probably the best deal on PFMs too. Griots Garage PFM...

I now have my detailing Everest

Bingo ! Fun fact : The paint shop accounts for almost 75% of an assembly plant's energy consumption.

Meguiar’s Wheel Brightener Consumer Equivalent for paint spot removal

:iagree: The principal ingredient in D140 is an intermediate to hydrofluoric acid. That said, Meg's own label/literature says it's safe to use on clear-coated & painted wheels. But I like to live by the "Better safe than sorry" mantra, so if you just have a few spots and they're not too big...

    Show us your pet.

I don't know about that. His facial expression kinda reminds me of an old saying people would use (sarcastically) ... " I'm so happy I could just sh!t " :D

Conventional oil....hard to find, switch to synthetic?

NAPA still carries plenty of conventional motor oils. While you're there, pick up a NAPA oil filter that's the same as Wix, just with a different paint job.

    Bees knees = '63 Split Window, Sebring Silver /w red interior, 327/360HP w/ "Duntov" cam * & Rochester F.I. Zora would agree ... :D Well #@!& , ... we've highjacked this thread. :hijacked: So, I'll take a '67 911R or maybe a 959, color is not a problem. Yeah, right, I wish I...

Sizzle : Eye-popping as always ! GG should hire you as a spokesperson for their polishing creams, your results with them are always amazing. Nah, it would be Marlboro Maroon with a saddle tan interior. And it would sport the tweaked 327. :D

    Best winter washing method

Stay away from those Moo Moo Expresses, that's for sure ... Pretty much my exact routine although I do a pre-treat with an Uber or similar at WW ratio. Also, I always use their final "spot free" rinse after I have done the main rinse, esp. if I am going to be lazy and do the...

Take a look at this paint.

Nah, it wouldn't be a Caddy problem as the GM assembly plants source their paint ... Lansing, Arlington, Spring Hill, etc., could potentially all be using different suppliers at any given time.

    IPA before ceramic coating.

Funnily enough, acetone and isopropanol are very similar chemically. Also, iso can be converted to acetone and acetone can be reduced to iso.

Best way to clean exterior of windshield

Similarly, I like to use Wolfgang Perfekt Vision Glass Polish polishes and restores auto glass windshields and windows.. Chemically it uses a safe but effective citrus base, plus it has some abrasives as well. Can be applied by hand or machine. I use it once in the spring cleanup, then again...

Wish I'd taken a pic of the Vette I saw today

Funny, I never really have related to that notion. My best friend from childhood had a '63 SW fuelie in high school. I bought my first C2 when I was 19 and drove it during college, commuting back and forth between Ohio and Michigan (old convertibles with gobs of HP and bias tires really suck...
