    You need to make sure the car is completely decontaminated/cleaned before applying the coating. I'm not sure what everyone here recommends for coating but be careful with who you choose. Some companies seem to be selling snake oil.

    It really depends on the body shop. Volume shops may rush through a job while smaller business seem to take their time.

    I don't see a huge problem with it myself. As long as the owner isn't walking around with flyers or something their shouldn't be an issue. Who cares if there's a sign with someone's phone number in a window.

    Foam pad's are probably your best bet. Pretty much the only way I've done it.
