I've been very pleased with Opti Bond as well. I use it on rubber trim as well, and it leaves everything looking very well-finished and clean.

I'm hoping to detail my C250. Remove all protection, ironx, tar removal, clay, bfcs, and 476s. I need to pull the wheels to decontaminate and protect them as well.

The pearl white really is beautiful. It takes on different hues from different angles. Did you do anything in particular to remove any existing protection before using Iron Out? I'm planning to use it for the first time and don't know if I should try to strip away any remnants of 476s and BFCS...

I have been using 476s for a couple years now with great results, with respect to visual results and durability. I used BFCS a few months ago with 476s on top and it really looks great, even today.

I've had Yankee Candle clips in the two center stack vents of my Mercedes-Benz C250 for exactly three months now and haven't seen any discoloration or change to the plastics, but they're normal plastic with a small amount of hard fragrance-infused gel deposited on them and none of it contacts...

Last I applied 476, here in Chicago, it was 28 - in our heated attached garage! So very cold. Was surprisingly easy though. On a silver car it can be difficult to discern where it has been applied when it goes on thinly, but with some experience and by getting an eye level with the paintwork...

I started with P21S but have been using Adam's Shampoo for almost a year now. Very slick, works well, and of course smells great!

I'm about to run out of 645s. Are Collinite waxes still a good, competitive choice? I last clayed, cleaned with Pinnacle Paintwork Cleanser, applied Crystal Seal, and applied 476s and was very pleased with the appearance and performance that exhibited, but wonder if I should stick with 476s or...
