    Any Detailers in 94535 area?

Hi. I'm from the area, but I'm currently out of town for the next several weeks for business. I don't personally know of any real detail shops in or around Fairfield or Vacaville, besides the ones that just clean your car for a real low price. If you're into what most of the people are into on...

Will this buff out of my matte vinyl stripes?

That sucks. Some people just have no respect for others' property. I don't even leave business cards under the wiper of vehicles I want to detail. I hear Swissvax has products designed specifically for matte finishes.

I have forgotten to add the sample a few times before, and they have always been great with adding it into the shipment too!

Quick Detailer / Gloss Enhancer after Drying

I really like Finish Kare 425 for slickness and gloss, but it doesn't last as long as Optimum Car Wax. Those are the only two products I use during or after drying.

    Update Website

Wow. I'm really impressed with your site. It looks very professional and high-class. I also wouldn't have known it was owned by a 16-year-old. I'm 20, and I'm just using a Facebook business page for my gig. Definitely increase the price of your wash and wax. It seems very under-priced for the...

    2003 VW Jetta GLI

I'm not sure if Power Finish will bring that hard VW paint to the same level that 105 does. Isn't PF like 85RD, but with improved cut? I'm sure it will be great as a second step. I have PF on order, and I can't wait to try it out.

    Clay Bar and there aggressiveness

The XMT clay I have is also fairly difficult to work with. Often, it breaks apart when kneaded, and it tends to spread itself out flat during the claying motions. It does clean paint very well, though. Once I'm finished using this clay, I'm looking into a different medium grade clay that is easy...

    2003 VW Jetta GLI

I love Tornado Red! Good job I used only 105 with an orange pad on my wife's daily driven Galactic Blue MkIV Jetta. It also has very hard paint. 105 finished very well, but it could've definitely been better had I gone over it with a polish. 7 hours sounds about how long I took, so going over...

    Daily Driver Polish

I generally like to use a light cutting pad with Menzerna SIP on my G110V2. Super easy to work with.

    Question about one step polishing.

I have the G110V2, and I also use the orange pad/SIP combo often. Using that one-step combo, I worked with a 128i in the same metallic black, and I've gotten the results I think you are looking for. I am using a 5.5" CCS pad, though. Also, I don't think BMW paint is not as hard as you think...

How did you organize your supplies?

I have a very similar setup as sgtmillhouse648, except I don't use the containers to carry my products. I carry my products in my wash buckets.

    Help? Pricing and packages

Sounds good. I think I'll take your advice on the sealant option as well as the increase in price. Though I do think that making the sealant option separate, maybe at $10, would take care of the issue of the cost of supplies. We'll see how it turns out. If it doesn't seem popular, then I will...

    Help? Pricing and packages

What do you think I should do about the sealant option? True, application isn't harder than of a wax, but WGDGPS takes quite some time to dry before buffing off, and KSG is sometimes a pain to buff off (because I apply too much sometimes). I was thinking of making it a $10 option for application...
