    DQuartz Go review

No problem, I didn't really mention the product name except for the title. From the limited reviews and videos I've seen, topping it with SIC or Gliss was common (if topping) to increase slickness, as had been done with UK 3.0. This is a relatively new product, and I just happened to be at...

    DQuartz Go review

Been a long time since I tried something new, so I figured I'd do a little review/write up here. It's a solid product, at least for the initial application. I can't yet comment on longevity. Application is very easy. The product spreads easily and you can feel the applicator grab when you...

Review: Pinnacle Black Label Leather Balm

Mike, do you know how this product will react with a leather seat that was repaired? I had an accident with a pair of jeans that nearly ruined my leather car seat (a back pocket seam rivet on my jeans came loose, bent, and gouged the leather several times). I repaired it using a flexible...

    New forum upgrade!

IMO, the entirety of the pages are too "white". It's a strain on my old(er) eyes. The side bar at the right (with the popular product links and calendar) needs to be darkened, as well as the user information panel(s) at the left side of each post. not enough contrast overall on the pages.

Does ceramic coating interfere with a car's electronics as a ceramic window tint does?

Mirrored tint may interfere with Radar Detectors, GPS, cell reception, but only if it's the older heavy metallic kind. Tesla's windshield coating is metallic and does cause radar detector interference. On newer Teslas there is a cutout on the windshield behind the passenger side of the...

    Mculloch 1275 or 1375?

tile grout cleaning: If it doesn't clean up with steam and agitation from the little plastic brush, you'll likely have to dye it to cover the stain. BBQ/Grill cleaning. Brass or SS brush and steam is amazing.

Kwazar foaming sprayer bottle, what am I doing wrong?

Thanks for the reply, I'll have to look into that when I get back from the holiday break.

Kwazar foaming sprayer bottle, what am I doing wrong?

I've been looking at this bottle for a while now to save my hands some grief while doing rinseless washes, so on the big black Friday sale I pulled the trigger and snagged one up. The weather has been poor with rain here in North Texas, so the amount of build up on the car was more than I...

PRODUCT REVIEW: Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating/Perfekt finish paint prep

I stand corrected and apologize for making an incorrect assumption. Thank you for the extra information. I do appreciate that from the Company. Also, I'm sorry for the 15cc versus 20cc comment. That was a low blow and unfairly thrown out there. I thought about it after I wrote it and was...

PRODUCT REVIEW: Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating/Perfekt finish paint prep

Thanks for the review SmokinSS. I have a question that might offend some, but I'm going to ask it anyway... Is this just repackaged optimum gloss coat? The tube seems oddly similar. So is the needle and stopper right down to the color. The color of the product is the same. The picture...

    Chrysler leather

Sonax makes a dedicated Alcantara cleaner that is supposedly great. I've personally never tried it, but that might be in a future order to try. And as Bob probably knows, there is no such thing as Corinthian leather. Chrysler made that term up completely to make it sound more sophisticated.

    Chrysler leather

He's got real leather. It's coated leather, so no need for a dedicated conditioner. Use the APC as builthatch described. If you've got the suede inserts that's actually Alcantara, a type of microfiber made to look like suede. Just use a very dilute mixture of woolite and water to clean on...
