paint on new cars are Infra Red cured so they are ready to seal when you buy them... Also Ford has a Technical Service bulletin to do a de-com wash to every vehicle before delivery to remove any rail dust and any transportation contamination on the paint...but a mild clay job would not hurt...

Most engine degreasers are nothing more than kerosene.... I use kerosene or Diesel to wash down outboards..Motorcyle engines ..my ATV...and just agitate it with a parts brush...then spray with a APC to wash the kerosene off and presto..looks like new..but do not use on asphalt since it does...

wax is a #1 cause of chatter on a windshield...it is grabby on the rubber....I would clean the windsheild with a glass polish or a AIO type product.....and start over with either Aquapel or a sealant..no wax....some rubber will not chatter..but most will....some blades are made from silicone...

By the sounds of it..your paint was heavily oxidized..and no product is going to remove that unless you use a cutting compound and polish....the reason you had swirls was the oxidation just absorbed the 501 ..it was to thisck for it to clean it.... now you said you have the 501 RV polish..if so...

If you plug will not fit tight in your extension..thats your problem...the worse the connection the more the machine has to draw...so it heats up..a bad plug causes resistance.... get a contractors grade 12 guage cord..12 should be fine if your only needing 25 feet....but..I would go the 50...

Low..you can do it ..use the 501 to clean then do 601/105 combo...... but what most people do not know is 501 is a sealant also...it does look super when cured..it is as durable as 105...but has a bit more UV protection and its super slick when cured.... works great as a wheel sealant...
