Jet black e90 owner here...I just started polishing out a repaint due to major road rash (front bumper) and decided to just give the whole thing a polish.
Ended up using M105 on a surbuf (heavier defects only), Blackfire Finishing Polish on a LC White, then finished down with M205 on a LC...
I use 476 as a base and then top off with another wax that will give me whatever look I'm going for (sometimes even just V7 or AquaWax after a wash). Never had a problem topping it either but as some have said...it can be a pain sometimes to remove if applied too heavy!
I have actually been using Comet to clean white letters on tires for years. APC for straight up tire cleaning but Comet always seemed to bring out the white a bit better!
Just a few sprinkles on a stiff bristled brush did the trick.
Sometimes I forget that sarcasm isn't relayed the same in text form haha
For some reason I have a problem with a 'water wipe-down' on the interior...not sure why though! adding in some UWW+ might make me feel better about it so I'll give that a shot
Thanks for the quick responses everyone!
I've recently been using Ultima Interior Guard Plus and could not be happier with the results.
Only one question though...
What do I do for upkeep?!
I am a big fan of Megs Quik Interior Detailer but know it has a VERY mild cleaner in it as well. How does/will this effect UIGP or for that...

Thanks! I'm thinking a white car would look kind of cool with a blue/purple tint to it...might give it some big time depth!
Just finished up applying a quick coat of Dodo Juice Blue Velvet on a 2010 Silverado...
This was my first time using this wax and although my LC CCS Red hand pad is now dyed half blue/purple it will definitely be my go-to for any dark colored cars!
I wonder if it will darken up a white/silver...
