Klasse AIO alternative...time to buy again

No worries on that question! Topping a sealant with a wax is a fairly common practice amongst us enthusiasts. The wax "topper" gives a deeper, warmer, wetter looking shine. It probably helps a little for durability, since there is one more "sacrificial layer", but the lifespan of a good...

Klasse AIO alternative...time to buy again

I've been a fan of Klasse since around 2001. used to do AIO x2, KSG x3, top with Souveran. Current approach: prep: clay/compound/polish as needed base: AIO (x2 if you want to make sure you get excellent coverage) seal: WGDGPS or BFWD (used to use KSG, now you can use other sealants, these...

Can I just apply Klasse twins over old UPGP?

Yep. As noted, the AIO will remove the previous LSP. AIO x2, KSG x3 and then top with your favorite wax, and you've got a shiny vehicle. :)

Klasse SG vs 845 on wheels

I used KSG on my wheels since I had about 1/3 bottle and it wasn't getting any love.... Then I remembered a thread from way back when Klasse was one of the only sealants around, and there was talk about using it as a QD. So I decided to try using the KSG diluted as a final wipe for the wheels...

Need Assistance on Picking up Products

when working by hand, those blue/red/white pads help, since one side is a polishing pad and has a little bit of bite to it. Once you've gotten the swirls out of the panel you can flip it and go to the LSP. Ultimate Compound breaks works pretty well by hand - it's my go-to product when spot...

    Fk 425

from what the folks on the AG hotline told me, the streaking is a rare but known occurance. Only happens with some finishes. For me, it was on Monaco Blue metallic paint that had WGDGPS topped with SSII. It wasn't an amount issue, it would happen even if I lightly misted a good MF and...

? About WolfGang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant

I still let it cure for at least 12 hours between layers - but back then I did the "gradual" approach - I'd do the whole car once, then work on a panel or two every evening.... 3 layers of KSG seems to be the sweet spot - more and it doesn't really seem to make much diffrence.

? About WolfGang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant

I agree with that except for Klasse SG. For some reason, the third layer of KSG really makes the finish pop. Using the Klasse twins, the "formula" that seems to work best (and was followed by most folks when KAIO and KSG were one of the only boutique sealants out) is KAIO x2 (to really clean...

    New tuxedo black edge

Product is fun. Technique gets the results. I strongly suggest to go to the AG store and read/watch the tutorials that are on the Facts, Tips, and Tricks page. Proper washing/drying techniques. Differences between sealants and waxes, and how to make the most of them. Winterizing your car's...

    Towel included in BFMS wax

I got 6 as well, and have used the 530 before. It's not the same towel that was in mine. The one that was in mine was more "shearling" like, for lack of a better term. It also had a tag sewn into the seam (the only drawback). My wife got me the wax - it may have come from the other auto...
