I do encounter the same problem of the hologram when I polished my car with Rupes DA. What caused this problem? Am I putting to much downward pressure on it or I need to spray some water in the pad before using it to work on the paint? Hope some expert could teach me the technique. Many thanks!

Currently, I am using Rupes DA yellow foam pad with Sonax Perfect Finish. And I want to try the new Rupes yellow pad with Sonax Perfect Finish. Just wonder if I can also get the same or even better result in this combination.

How about microfibres from Meguiars?

That is what I going to try in next step, Rupes yellow pad with Sonax Perfect Finish. Is it okay to use the yellow pad on stock backing plate (designed for foam) or I need to use the plate that specially designed for the pad?

Did anyone try using UHS pad with Sonax Perfect Finish?
