good luck. in photography and cinematography. its very difficult to see those defects. so long as the car is clean and has a coat of wax on it, its good enough for video. they likely arent going to pay very much at all for you to do that.

how did the paint look up close? i have noticed that when removing heavy oxidation that the paint even after removing the oxidation from the surface still has a haze to it. Possibly from the reaction of the paint with various things but using a simple cleaner in my cases didnt restore shine...

using no handle i have found is far more comfortable and offers less fatigue. as well as having more direct control over the pad.
