Any word on getting a write up of the build?

I was thinking about getting the door sill guards like shown above for it. Or protecting with 3M film. The area I am talking about is the synthetic soft plastic like material in the areas surrounded by red in this picture.

I actually went out and bought the Quik Wax last night. After some research after purchasing its been confirmed that D156 is the same as Quik Wax other than the smell. As for the detailer, I'm not sure what the detailer equivalent would be, but I suspect its last touch or something. $32 for...

Is this what you used. If so, it clearly states that it does not strip wax.

I've bought and used the HF DA and pads, worked fine.

I have one of the Ansi Auto Rupes knockoffs. And I have indeed attached a Rupes 5" backing plate to it and use Rupes pads. Everything works fine after a little bit of tweaking. Its not exactly easy to do as I did have to open up the rupes backing plate mounting hole on the back a few hundreths...

I alternate between Car Pro Wool mitt and Autozone green MF chenille, and a smaller green autozone chenill for the bottom of the truck.

Well... calling a gtechniq authorized detailer and saying you dont want that but for him to instead apply opti coat or cquartz may have done it. Like me asking chemical guys to detail my car with only meguiars products.
