    Mixing RMG and PO106FF

according to "Rag", a 70%":30% mix shld not affect the bonding properties since the amnt of RMG is too low to exhibit much of its glazing properties..The idea of the mix is to reduce dusting and increase working time. They also tried it with IP and hd similar great results.

    Alternative to PC

i'm located in Malaysia and we don't get PCs over here as i've not seen them offered in 220/240VAC. Can anyone make alternative recommendations for an orbital polisher as an alternative to a PC7424 that will also give me the flexibilty of changing the backing plates like the PC? TIA..

i've read in the forums that this combination of Clearkote RMG and Menzerna PO106FF with a mixing ratio of 60%:40% or 70%:30% (PO106FF : RMG) gave great results when finishing up. Will this work if i were to use a sealant as a LSP like Zaino or FMJ..? Since RMG is a glaze and will this affect...

thanks...That's what i got approx when i measured the thread..it was about 0.55in. Another question, how is the 7in backing plate fitted to the polisher? Does the backing plate have a 5/8in thread which screws on to the polisher or they are just slipped through and then bolted on with a bolt to...
