    CD2 Engine Detailer

Reviving I know but anyone have a retailer that might still have CD2 Engine Detailer in stock? I haven't found a store that still carries it. I used most of the can I had. Both my engine bays stayed much cleaner when I used it ever month or so.

need tips on being lazy (foam gun?)

I didn't trust ONR at first, but when used correctly it's given me no scratches that I can see, even in my 20 year old jet black bmw. If it was super dirty I would still use, pressure washer and foam gun, but for mild dirt rinseless is very convenient. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk

I've been using ONR rinseless wash for those types of quick wash. Great stuff. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk

Meg UC and Orange CCS not cutting it- what to use?

Thanks Karl. I do have a makita rotary on loan from the trade school where I teach, along with some 3m rubbing compound and a grey 3m pad (the one with the quick connect in the center). That was what I used to take out the majority of the large scratch on the hood. I could have probably...

Meg UC and Orange CCS not cutting it- what to use?

No I can't feel it with a fingernail. The combo I'm using right now is taking out the very fine swirls, but there are a few leftovers that (as rider mentioned) I'll probably have to live with. I had a pretty bad hood scratch that I wetsanded and rotary buffed. Its still barely visible in...

Meg UC and Orange CCS not cutting it- what to use?

I'm buffing my car for the first time. Just got in the griots da with a 5" backing plate and an assortment of 5" CCS pads. Also have #205, and Meg UC Everything is working great, I'm just not getting out the larger scratches. Do I need some #105? I thought the UC had more cut I guess.

Soft BMW clearcoat- 5" or 6" pads?

I'm only plan on sanding some small, deep scratches. The majority of the paint is great, and doesn't look to have many swirls at all. I will also be using the polisher on my 93 ford truck that was very badly oxidized when I got it. I've already used the rotary buffer and the rubbing...

Soft BMW clearcoat- 5" or 6" pads?

Hey all, first post and new to the forum. Finally bought myself a new (to me) 2006 330i and I have been lurking, learning how to properly bring the paint back to life. The clear on this car seems pretty soft. I borrowed a Makita rotary buffer from the auto body shop at the school where I work...
