    i bought the same kit. its your backing plate, its a tad too large. its not that big of a deal since the pad still works, but a little bit of surgery to the backing plate would fix this.

    question: additional high end wax on Glanz Wax??

    topping is all personal preference. the usual route is using a sealant for longevity, and then using a beauty wax for look. the layers seem to have a little benefit and you get the best of both worlds. i personally like to use Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant with Fuzion or Natty's Red.

    i'm no expert, but rubbing anything on paint causes marring, scratches and swirls. the only way to avoid it is to not touch the car at all! and think of the embedded above surface contaminants, when they are abraded off by the clay they are still on the surface of the clay. but claying is...

    pop them off and just use wash soap or a dedicated wheel cleaner. and there isnt any magic involved with cleaning, put some elbow grease into it!
