Can CLS or EXO be used on black plastic trim?

I actually just recomended my son to a Pdr guy. I wish i had try to get into this a long time ago, Can you tell me What it takes to learn this art? Do these guys go to a school to learn it? And aproxamitly how much are the tools they use?

Yes i figured it out. there was an old pad that came apart and stuck to the backing plate. I cant understand how the other pads were sticking to it. i thought it was part of the backing plate. So basically there is nothing wrong with my backing plate. also sorry for the double post, i tried to...

sorry. never mind. I figured it out. Im such a knuckle head. I had a thin pad stuck on the backing plate. so it was covering the screw. thanks anyway pal

I don't see it. the velcro came off and it is just flat, no bolt in the center. I also have the flex 3401. i see the bolt on that polisher. i always change the 5 inch plate to 6 and vise versa. but there is no bolt on the center of this polisher .

So i was using my mini today and the Velcro on the backing plate came off. I assume i need a new backing plate. I don't see how the backing plate comes off. in the box i see the allen key but where the vecro came off i dont see anything to unscrew. any help would be appreciated, thanks

If you tried compounding it and it just comes back, im gonna say i thinks its clear coat failure.

In my opinion you could try compound it out. If it dont come out i think its some kind of paint defect. maybe they tried to blend in the paint and just not a good job. Just my opinion, little hard to tell from pics
