I'm happy with my carnauba collection (Finally)

Using them since 2002. And actually collecting (stocking up) since 2004. I am using up my S100 and Paste Glaze, but the others are on my keep list. Would like to try some soft99, maxwax or surluster when my piggybank is replenished:D . Many of them have been through trades/purchases from...

How do you Northerner's wash take care of your cars in the winter???

I am so used to it now;) . I washed in 45-50 wearing a sweathshirt and tracks. The key for me is wearing some of those rubber wash gloves (that you use when doing the dishes) to keep the cold water off the hands. Makes a big difference. When colder, then self serve and waterless wash (like ONR...

When is it to cold to Polish?

I would not want to prep (ie using the pc with polishes ect) in such cold weather. I try to get that done before the cold temps set in. I do, though, apply sealants and wax in this weather. I did it yesterday. Allow more time to cure and be aware you may get streaking with certain products...

    Duragloss Polish Bonding Agent #601

It is a both: like a catalyst (it helps increase the durability) for DG 105 and a precleaner. One thing I am not sure about when using it with other sealants is that DG states not to remove the 601 before applying the 105. Would this hold with other non DG sealants? Not sure.

    Werkstatt, any feedback?

Have any of you tried Werkstatt? I have heard alot about it; the new improved Klasse, with more gloss and better durability. Is it that durable? and how is the looks? I was looking at it, as the current post VOC AIO isnt up to par imo, yet I love how you can top anything over it. Any...

    Sealant/Polish Opinions

Love DG 105, really hard to decide, but as Waxman said, UPP is the ticket for pure wet/slickness. CG 5050 is a no brainer imo and my findings are the same as Waxman. Note if durability is a huge concern, you would be better with DG 105/CG 5050.

4*. Which products recommended to try?

You will not top it with a carnauba, its soo wet.

    new products

As ryandamartini stated, UPP and Duragloss are great. I have tried practically all of the sealants here, and DG 105 (awesome reflective, wet looks that is probably the most durable lasting) and UPP (the slickest and wet) are at the top of the list imo.

    Need some process opinions

Good process. Two things, you could bypass a second wash if you clay using a QD (like Megs) as a lube; spray and wipe panel at a time. And, personally I enjoy applying souveran by hand (1) I get a better idea of how the finish is (2) easier to get into the nooks and odd places, (3) very easy to...

POLL: What is your favorite Sealant?

Actually, Bence is very correct. IMO, I prefer CG FS Seal and DG 105 to Zaino as they are easier to 'assemble' and apply. I have layered my green Jag this 4 times in the afternoon. Cures within 15 minutes without any 'zfx' ect. and at a fractiion of the cost. Same with DG 105, similar to the...
