Good place to get embroidered shirts

Yeah, they pretty much offer any brand of shirts that you want. But I think what you're looking for is Dry-tech. That's the style under armour usually uses for their active wear. My guy is wearing it in the main photo on this page. Fleet Management | Attaboy Mobile Detailing

A few tips on starting a part-time detailing business

I also have a guy who helps me part time, so I send him out to do the work with my trailer, compensate him handsomely, and still make a good amount of money for sitting at home. The other day I sent him out to do an full detail with compound and high speed polish on an Escalade. Took him about...

A few tips on starting a part-time detailing business

I hear you. #1 I work for BSO. If you work for Palm Beach SO, then you're getting compensated for your sacrifice much more. #2, I'm a dispatcher, so I make a lot less and try to spend as little time as possible in that hell hole. Lastly, I charge around $119 for a detail on a sedan. That's about...

A few tips on starting a part-time detailing business

I work full time for the Sheriff's office and have a detailing business on the side. It's not always easy. I've had to turn down a lot of customers in the beginning that called and wanted their cars done on the spot. However, over time, I've developed relationships with other detailers that I...

    Wintertime Detailing Without a Garage

Wintertime detailing sounds amazing! Hello from South Florida- where if it's not pouring rain, steam is coming off the pavement. Lots of fun to detail in. Constantly fighting water spots and trying to keep the wax from drying onto the clear coat too quickly.

Does a Metro VacNBlo Portable fit in the under seat storage of Burgman 400 Scooter?

It's still ridiculously expensive.. Decent shop vac is $40. You don't need a metro vac n' blo to wash, dry, and wax a car. I'm a business owner. If you like to collect expensive toys like that, ok- but it's not practical for me to buy one of those for each of my trailers.

    Ardex products? Good or bad?

I can speak from experience with most Ardex products. I do production only, which is all about speed and efficiency. You have to pick and choose. I learned by trial-and-error. I will tell you that I'm NOT thrilled with their cleaner wax. It is difficult to apply and difficult to remove. I have to...

Does a Metro VacNBlo Portable fit in the under seat storage of Burgman 400 Scooter?

Save the space! When it comes to detailing, (or any trade for that matter) there are a million companies out there doing their best to convince you that you need THEIR PRODUCT to get the job done right. When it comes to certain things, I feel it's all about the detailer's personal preference. I...

Help with detailing '65 Chevy Chevelle

Hey Mike, I'm in Boca Raton….. Not too far. I'll tell you what- if it's not something I'm qualified to take on…. which it most likely isn't… maybe I'll convince him to bring it to you….. and maybe I can come up and learn something. I work overnights for a Police Department, so in the meantime...

Help with detailing '65 Chevy Chevelle

I have a prospective client that called me requesting a detail on a '65 Chevy Chevelle with single spaced black. I'm not entirely sure what that means, but I think it has to do with there being no clear coat. He said it's badly in need of a compounding. What all does this job involve? I'm going...

Pro Detailer in Boca Raton area?

Hey Mike! What does it take to be considered a pro detailer as far as you're concerned. I do great work and I'm in the Boca Raton area. I'm not deep into the "theory" of the industry, but I specialize in what I believe you refer to as- Production Detailing. I do this as a side gig and have a...
