I'm in a competition for a local detailing shop and the picture with the most likes gets the win! the winner wins a Metro Master Blaster! I don't have that in my tools so I would love to have it.
PLEASE help a fellow detailer out and click on the below Facebook link and like the picture...
I did clay off like maybe 60% off the top of the roof.
and there might be some above my rear wheel wells.
another forum recommended IPA. what are your thoughts?
just trying to gather as much info before I go out tomorrow to do it
hey!
the whole thing is not really sticky I guess, more of a line where you can tell the sheets were. when I spray water all over the car I notice that the areas covered in the sheets, the water beads off?
I got a new car and I didn't want the dealership to touch my car with any brushes or towels, but have them remove that white protective sticky sheet.
but now there's some left over stickiness.
I tried clay and got some of it off
tried APC and didn't really do much
tried griots adhesive remover...
nope. didn't prime it.
I read here you don't have to prime Rupes pad, but that's with the Rupes system. I use the foam pads with menzerna without priming though and it works great.
I'll try a squeeze of spray wax next time
used it for the first time the other day. the fibres seem to lay down quickly and it's very difficult for me to fluff them back up compared to other cutting pads.
anyone else have any tips for them?
i should mention that the results came out great though
(4", used 3 drops of menzerna fg400)
