I do one capful to one gallon and about 6 cheapo harbor freight microfiber towels. Comes out about perfect for a standard size car or small SUV. I should say I use the ONR and wax which is a slightly different product but the dilution is the same.

This is very easy to fix. Throw a rock through the window and let your insurance company replace.

Reminds me about a year ago my mother in law was staying with us. I have a pile of garage clothes that I don't necessarily wash too often and she decided to do us a favor. One pair of pants had my iPod nano, another had a couple of pens, etc none of which got removed before going in the washer. :(
