DIY LED Work Light (much better than halogen!)

Yes indeed. I don't think I'll ever use the 8 bulbs all at once during correction work since it is way too bright. More like 4 bulbs at once is manageable. Either 4 horizontal or 4 vertical. All good choices as far as the materials go. But I would at least purchase one stand or even a 6'...

AutoGeek Foam Cannon HD+DP Xtreme shampoo

I decided to do some testing yesterday with my relatively new foam cannon and my gas powered pressure washer. Here's a little background before the testing I did. When I first received my foam cannon from AutoGeek I was initially very excited as I was expecting the thick snow like foam just...

Haze or? I need your opinion

Thank you for those tips Mike! I'll definitely give the black hybrid pads a try. Also I was thinking of trying Menzerna Sf4500. Would that be considered a DAT polish?

Haze or? I need your opinion

I should have taken pics before the correction but these b-pillars were "swirled-out" as Mike would have had it. The funny thing is under the lights (day light bulbs) they give of this haze (supposedly). And under the sun the haze isn't there (looks jet black). My guess is it may be a...

Haze or? I need your opinion

Thank you for the tip. By grey you mean black right? If so I was thinking maybe the black hybrid pads? Thank you! I tried the crimson and UP but it's still not quite perfect. I will try the black hybrid pads.

Haze or? I need your opinion

Hi fellow AutoGeeks! I just completed my first full detail with my Flex 3401 and would like to know if I'm seeing DA haze or if it's just the lighting or even the paint color? Here are the pics (black A-pillars): Products used: WolfGang uber 3.0 compound (tangerine hydro tech pad) Meg's...

Which solution to use in pad washer?

I just purchased the GritGuard universal pad washer and I as wondering what would be the cheapest solution/ solvent to help aid in cleaning & conditioning the pads? My pad washer came with a free sample of Wolf Gang Pad Werks Pad Cleaner & Extender but there has to be a cheaper alternative.

First time DA polisher experience (XC3401)

Thank you everyone for the positive feedback. It's unforunate that the RIDS will have to stay since this is not a show car. It's actually Mom's truck and I was fortunate enough to have such a car to practice on. It was purchased new over 10yrs ago and was never properly detailed (I remember...

First time DA polisher experience (XC3401)

I purchased the Flex XC3401 HD and I'm impressed at what I can do now with this machine. I have zero experience prior to my first time using it last night. I've been working by hand and I will not go back if I can help it. Here are the results: Although I'm happy with the results they are...
