Maybe I just work for way too cheap;). I base my rates on a job by job basis. I charge based on what I feel is fair for the work needed and what will make the client happy. Being that this particular VW is single stage and did not give me any trouble, I priced the job accordingly...

FWIW, I charged well under $200 as the car did not take me that long to complete and was an easy job.
