Sorry to drag up and old thread but I was wondering how anyone found these to work with a slightly more viscous fluid (Sonax Full Effect)
I bought this one from Home Depot
Unfortunately it does not work well with Sonax FE. I can't get a workable spray pattern. Straight stream works fine but...
I wasn't even thinking of the other contaminants, just the snow. By me it's usually pretty heavy wet stuff.
I remember scratching the high hell of the trunk of my fathers 1986 735i after a snow storm as I scooped snow of off it to make snowballs when I was a little kid
He was not happy lol.
With all the emphasis on preventing swirls and scratches here, can someone tell me how using this tool to push and drag snow across the paint does not cause scratches?
I have magic erasers and agree they work wonders however on this case I am not sure how they will help as they are abrasives in and of themselves. Is the suggestion to use them in order to remove the little curled up bits of vinyl in the scuff?
I have been searching for a procedure on how to remedy these unsightly scuff marks left by the original owner on the black door panels of my 2010 Audi S5.
Most of the threads I have read deal with scuff marks (usually on lighter color interiors) caused by a transfer of material onto the door...
Second question. In reading the instructions on the wheel refinish kit, it says its for use on bare metal wheels.
Do you plan on stripping the existing paint down to bare metal, and if so, how?
If not, how will you utilize the kit?
this is my first real attempt at correction so i am still learning. i had already ordered some other stuff to try but if I am not satisfied with the results, I'll go with this next.
Is Harley Vivid Black considered a hard paint?
Also, while I have everyone's attention. Is the counterweight that is in the PC now (reads "Use 5" Pad only) ok for the 4" or 3" pads I am going to use?
Thanks for all the quick responses.
