I have a layer of this coating since last fall on my vehicle. If I want to add another layer, since this is almost a year old, can I just add another layer of coating or do I need to do a Surface Prep(Meguiars)?
I have the LC-TP-WHITE5 5.5" ThinPro White Polishing Pad that last week I finally got around to using. I really like it and wanted to order another one or two but have been informed they have been discontinued.
For those who like it as I do what pad is as good?
Done at the factory to protect the rear hump back when you are opening and closing the conv. top. There's a channel in front of the ppf that the factory uses to lay done the ppf. So dirt or wax will get in this channel.
How do keep the edges clean and protected so in the future I don't have to spend a few hours cleaning the edges with a toothpick and a cleaner?
Will applying wax do the job and keep dirt out?
I have a white Speedster and all along the ppf you can see where I was cleaning.
My sister-law is interested in having her Honda CRV detailed and I wanted to know if anyone is familiar with them?
On their website they have their own ceramic coating. When I asked about their ceramic coating they say it is System X.

I think SizzleChest was given a sample years ago, to beta test a chrome polish that really looked promising. Sad to say the product never made it to market as far as I know.
I hate chrome with micro marring and swirlling.
