    New Subaru dashboard.

I didn't 'soak' it, just used more than the 'normal' spritz. QID evaporates pretty quickly, so that was the only way to keep it moist whilst doing a wipe down. It took a couple of times, but not a lot of time. I will add...I don't use MF towels on 'padded plastic dashboards', I go old school...

    New Subaru dashboard.

Same dash on a '18 Outback...I used Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer (liberally) a couple o' times, then Meg's M-40 after that. QID also does a good job on the nav screen. I will add...it is still a bit 'sticky' but defiantly not like it was in the beginning. Bill

Tire Black (back in the day)

I do remember a 'tire black' from back in the late 50's, early 60's. Don't remember the actual name but it came in a quart can (like a paint can) and was NOT water based. The stuff had a real petroleum smell. Yea, use a paint brush (talk about gettin' you Dad PO'd, using one of his good...

I'm still surprised that no one has come out with a clone of "CD-2". Bill

First thing that comes to my mind is pollen of some sort. Maybe also, bug poop. Where are you located? Bill

Are there any foods that you don't like or care for?

Cooked veggies. Raw-I'll eat almost any kind, but when ya cook 'em...ain't going down that road quietly. Oddly, as I get older food(s) that used to really enjoy I can't stomach nowadays. Bill

    APOLLO 11. 50 year mark.

Still amazed by it all. Seeing a lot of the renewed videos/films (this past week or so) from that era really woke up that part of my addled brain that had forgotten how great it all was. Bill

    what's your weather currently like?

The heat broke here yesterday...Friday was a killer, 95° with 83° dew point equals a heat index of 116°! Bill

    Hit by tree sap mist

First a question: Are you sure it's from the Doug Fir? This time of year, bees are active and bee poop feels (acts like) tree sap. IF it is from the fir trees, turpentine will dissolve it. Bill

    Cleaning tires and rims

This along with various torque specs should all be in the owners manual. Maybe an 'on-line' group is out there for your car. This is usually a good way to get specific info. Bill
