What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Did a rinseless wash with Duragloss 932. Had a small amount of TW slick and slide already mixed up so used that to wash tires and wheels. Dressed tires with Aqua Gloss and used my hybrid Optimum drying aid on the wheels. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New Car, Old Supplies – Looking for Advice on What to Use

No im near Bridgeville. Yes I have heard of it and looked into it at one time. The $50.00 yearly fee is a turn off for me. That's the only place that I know of that does such a thing. Maybe for a detail shop that uses a lot of product that would make sense. Between that and driving the 20 miles...

I never thought of it as undersized. It's 3 inches in diameter. The steel beam is only 5 inches wide x 8 inches tall. Hell I feel lucky. The guy three houses down has three 2 x 8s put together for his beam. It works as it has been here for 38 years just as I have.

RIP to my beloved PC7424(need recommendations for replacement)

I think the old brand at Harbor Freight was Bauer or something very similar. Never tried their polisher but the polishing pads were crappy. The Newer Grants polishing pads aren't a lot cheaper than other brands but they are available without shipping costs and they are descent quality. Harbor...

RIP to my beloved PC7424(need recommendations for replacement)

Well i still have my 7424. But earlier this year I got the Hercules. It works just fine for my purposes. I also bought some of the Grants polishing pads when I was at Harbor Freight. The Grants are a big step up from the brand Harbor Freight used to sell. By the way. I have learned the hard way...

New Car, Old Supplies – Looking for Advice on What to Use

Can't argue your point about the Ultralock as there are sealants that don't require avoiding plastics. However it's a perfect sealer for my Chevelle that doesn't have any plastic. Yes the TEC 582 is a very good inexpensive detailer/Drying Aid that I dilute 1:1 and performs very well at that...

New Car, Old Supplies – Looking for Advice on What to Use

You are correct. Lots of very good products on the market. Many of them infused with ceramic ( SI02 ). Many new cars the paint is not perfect. You could always polish with a finishing polish. One of my favorite sealants that I use a couple times a year is Jescar Ultralock. It's a great sealer...

Sounds like that came from someone with too much time on their hands and has allowed their mind to wander.

Roger, What is your opinion of the Idrosave as a drying aid? Was the 100:1 a stout enough ratio? Car looks great.

what's the last car care/detailing video you've just watched?

In some of the videos I've seen the QD ratio is said to be 100:1 although I don't have a bottle to confirm I believe it mentions on the bottle 50:1 So I saw where you mixed some up at 36:1. That should be a potent detailer. Let me know how that ratio works out.

He is most likely anything he can dream up. Probably a god idea to take anything he says with a grain of salt.

I thought Pan once mentioned he was educated in Chemical Engineering or something similar. I refuse to watch Pan do anything. He has shown his true colors and he only cares about Pan. He is sleazy.
