How to correctly use an AIO or Cleaner/Wax by Mike Phillips

So Mike a quick question previously you stated to a Honda owner with soft black paint to use an orange pad, I have a 15 Black Mustang Gt would you recommend orange pads as well? My car looks good from 10 feet away but when you get up on it you can see the swirls. I have a GG Da with a 5.5...

    2015 Black Mustang Swirl Remover

I am a part time detailer here in NC but just do not have a demand in my area for paint correction. No one wants to pay for it. It has been about five years since I have had to do a paint correction (black mustang in avatar) then I used megs 205/105 combo. I was leaning to the black fire one...

Hey guys I just purchased a 2015 Black Mustang and the paint is not hammered it does have a fair amount of scratches as swirls, I have been out of the machine polishing game for a while and need to give my baby some love. What polish would you recommend for a single step to give good results. I...

    Polishing swirls?

Oh it has never not been protected, always waxed/sealed. Used products with masking, filling properties. Looking to polish her up after winter and just curious about how much clear a one step removes

    Polishing swirls?

My question is how many times can you safely use a one step polishing product on a clear before issues with thickness pops up. I have a Toyota Camry that has been polished once with a mega one step product and an orange LC pad four years ago and I am considering hitting it again with blackfire...

    Aio?

I have a black Camry with light to moderate swirls, looking at an AIO and I have been out of the buffing game for a while. Looking at 3d speed or black fire AIO. What do you suggest? Will be using a gg da with a green polishing pad. Let me know which way you would go

    Seat Cleaner

I guess I should clarify, it is not the real leather like in a king ranch that I ran into issues with it is the "other" stuff. "Normal leather" that was in the f150. Just need something to get the grime out of these seats with out scrubbing for an hour per seat and not causing any damage. Just...

    Seat Cleaner

I have chemical guys all clean can that be diluted to clean soiled seats but not cause damage? In response to previous post my process is probably a factor as well. I sprayed them down with a interior cleaner and let dwell for approx 1 minute then used a Terry cloth white towel to wipe.

    Seat Cleaner

I used dash away interior cleaner. I also had some all clean from CG that I had mixed for exterior use but was hesitant to use it on the seats. Need something for work truck seats to get as much as I can out of them.

    Seat Cleaner

Hi guys I am a part time guy who does a few cars here and there. I had a customer that was unhappy with the level of cleaning that was performed on his F150 "leather" seats. I am looking for a good cleaner that will get the grime and dirt/stains out of the seats. I have a good conditioner (I use...

    UPGP on a boat

Has anyone used UPGP on a boat? Not really into doing boats did not know if it would hold up at all. Have a good customer and he talked me into washing his boat, not a full detail but I was thinking of hitting with UPGP or do we definitely need marine specific products. Go ahead and hit me hard...

    Best Brand Top to Bottom

I I look at it from the perspective that the products from a single line should work together well, me smearing or dulling of the finish. I have used other lines in the past and fell out of favour with a product and moved to another LSP for example and slowly migrated to the new lsp products. I...

    Best Brand Top to Bottom

I know I am opening a can of worms here but wondering how many people are like minded and stay with one brand mostly. I have different polishes, waxes and sealents that I use in different situations but I typically stay inside a brand, opti-seal sealent and optimum detail spray on that car, so...
