I believe that 105 is durable on its own. Even without the 601, it may be outlast BFWD.

DG products deliver as advertised. But let's say one buys them and not satisfied with them. It's affordable that it doesn't hurt and they can be used as base for one's favorite wax.

I usually use less than 25 ml. So I bought a 50 ml squeezable transparent plastic bottle. I filled it with 20 ml water, and marked it with a permanent pen (sharpie?), add another 5 ml water to the bottle and marked it again. Earlier, I tried mixing 10 ml of 501, 10 ml of 105 and 5 ml of 601...

Try FK1000P. It's very cheap at $18 for a 15 oz. can. It will last you for a long time. It's not hard to use. The only cons for me is the smell and it has the look that you will either like or hate. If you do not like how it looks, you can just use it as a base for your favorite wax or spray...
