I also have the 3M film on my car. I've been told not to use anythign containing abrasives as it can cause the film to become brittle. I heard Larry Kossilla say once that you can polish clear bra, although you need to be extremely careful. I'd imagine it melts pretty easy.

I'm not needing it on the screen, more of the lid. Can anyone suggest a couple products for this application? I'm not 100% on what I'm looking for. I see products for clear plastics, I'm not sure it'll work on the black glossy plastic. Others with cleaners and protectants.

Actually they are a pretty bright blue. In direct sunlight the metal flake really makes them glow. Its hard for the camera to capture. Sadly, i think this will be the last year i leave them on.
