Need help. What is the criteria for having a bypass on your pressure washer water pump? Is it the pump size? Or pump type? If I need, could someone explain the connections? Thanks!

Ok I've read posts for over 2 hours that my eyes are getting buggy? Looks like I need a pump for my setup instead of just gravity feed. Question now is should I put a bypass circuit in too? Pw is 2500psi. Thanks
