    Polishing New Car Paint?

Thank you everyone. No, it was something I negotiated off the sale, but if there is ever a paint related is while under warranty, I just don't want to be responsible for a paint repair on a brand new car; well at least for a couple of years anyway.

    Polishing New Car Paint?

Hello everyone, My wife purchased a new 2020 Kia Optima (her favorite car) with the pearl white paint. In the package came "paint protection" for $xxx, not sure, a couple hundred. If I was to polish and wax the car, would I be voiding some type of paint protection warranty? Living in the...

    Another Newbie Question - Sorry

Ok friends, so after doing some shopping (looking, not yet purchasing) at Griots website; my cart is adding up fast. Over $500 for G9, 5" backing plate, Compound, Polish, 16 pads, OMG!!! Lol. Luckily I have my own products as well from hand polishing. That saves me a couple of hundred dollars.

    Another Newbie Question - Sorry

Very nice cars Mike!!! That 59 almost looks like mine. I will attach a phot later when I get home. Mine had 58,000 miles in 1987 when I purchased it for $2400. What a deal. It still had the original plastic on the seats, original spare tire, never used!!! Carpet turned out to look brand new...

    Another Newbie Question - Sorry

Thank you again everyone. Looks like I am going with the G9 as recommended. I see Griots website has various kits available. I will start there and yes, pick up enough pads. So I want to start with orange pad for the deep swirl marks on the trunk lid? And, what is all the talk about making sure...

    Another Newbie Question - Sorry

Hello Mike, I used to own a "barn find" 1959 Cadillac Flat Top, Beige. All it needed was TLC and a week later it looked almost showroom new. Looking for one now, but a big price difference from 30 years ago when I found mine.

    Another Newbie Question - Sorry

Thank you everyone for the fast and honest responses. I will look into Griots products; I have heard of them, but never used them, I have always been a Maquiars fan and one of my best favorite products was always Liquid Glass.

    Another Newbie Question - Sorry

Hello everyone, Since I purchased my black 2016 Cadillac XTS last year (very low miles), I have noticed that since winter is over in the Midwest (fingers crossed), it is time to detail my car like you professionals!! So I started reading many, and I mean many forums and threads regarding...
