Hydro 2 enough for polished aluminum wheels?

I had a set of aluminum rims that I was keeping up. I tried using both wheel wax and sealant to try and keep the upkeep minimal but never found something I really liked. The best thing I did find was a set of 3" griot's metal pads and HD metal on my PC. You just have a use caution not to leave...

Car care - Care package recommendations

Living in Houston myself, I can already tell you that it's difficult to use any sort of wash technique in direct sunlight. I have an 2016 Expedition El that's all black and it doesn't seem to matter if I use a hose and 3 buckets or D114 rinseless wash. If I'm in the sun, it's going to dry...

    Help with Porter Cable 7424XP

I use a 3" lake country backing plate with the 3" red waxing pads from Griots on speed 3-4 for application, and the cobra supreme 530 for removal. Do one section at a time and then buffing off.

Need suggestions and advice for taking care of aluminum rims

I have someone who recently purchased a 2017 F250 and is now putting a set of American Force rims on the truck. I'm looking to get some suggestions on both products to use and techniques to managing polished aluminum rims. This will most likely all be done by hand. I know there are a few metal...

    Neglected BMW 750Li

Due to the time constraint I was working with, I didn't put anything over the Essence. I've had good success with Essence lately and typically don't cover it, for now.

    Neglected BMW 750Li

I really like the DUB wheel cleaner, I found it local and on sale and decided to give it a try. That with the brush pair really well together. I don't always get the working time out of it that I'd like, but that's due to living in Houston and trying to detail during the summer outside.

    Neglected BMW 750Li

This is my first post in the Show N' Shine, so any feedback is welcome. This car belongs to a friend of mine and when he arrived, I was told the car hasn't been washed in over 6 months due to he and his wife moving recently. My process was as follows: Wash using 2 bucket method Rims cleaned...

    Modify Pressure Washer?

Sorry about the late reply, I've been a little under the weather. I grabbed some quick snaps of both the hose, nozzle, and the pressure washer inlet. I bought these at my local hardware store (HD) and was around $10-12 total. It's a Ryobi 1600 psi electric pressure washer that I love. It...

    Modify Pressure Washer?

I use an electric pressure washer and have quick connects on both the pressure washer and the hose nozzle. The hose itself has the female end attached to it. With this set up, I can turn off the pressure washer and switch to the nozzle in a matter of seconds.

    What product to use

Second for pearl. I use it for just about everything (trim, tires, engine covers). It's easy to apply and lasts.

    Price to clean Yamaha R6

Here's a bike a did about a month ago. This also wasn't very dirty but had a lot of road grime on the bottom of the frame. In total, it took me an hour to go over the bike including letting the motor cool down enough to do that chrome. I used D114 and a few microfiber towels, spraying the towels...
