If you could only choose one complete “system”?

Ya, this is a really good point. I kinda expected them to launch a professional line to compliment their other professional products, but as you said the big names are already there and most owners will happily use Meg’s for prep and then too with a fancy sounding exotic coating.

If you could only choose one complete “system”?

You know, I’m so surprised they don’t have a proper ceramic line considering what an industry powerhouse they are. Top shelf compounds, cleaners etc. It’s disappointing because I think they make some of the best products.

If you could only choose one complete “system”?

You have one choice. One brand to use for your home or business. Interior but especially exterior. Who would it be? I think compounds are way more subjective as there are so many different scenarios and no person should be loyal to just one brand. But coatings, reloaders, primers etc..it’s...

    Dealing with Vintage Honda Paint...advice?

Hello... So after a winter of slow months it looks like I will be tackling a vehicle outside of my normal range...a first generation, Vancouver coach-built Honda Prelude in a dark blue. With the majority of my experience revolving around newer paint systems,my primary arsenal being Adam's and...

Doing some side work-Need compound advise bad!

Wealth of information! Thank you! Using a WaxedShine DD8 machine... a re-branded Flex 3401 I think this makes it pretty easy. I won't do a once size fits all...I'll pick up some 6.5' microfibre pads and the D300 for the heavier stuff, and pick up some Menzerna or Griot's to compliment as well...

Doing some side work-Need compound advise bad!

Thank you! I often forget about 3m! Yes! I've been intending to try Griots so glad to hear it's quality. And I'll have some microfibres on order! Good to know. That's more or less what I was afraid of, so I might pick up some M105 as I do a lot of German paint...where the Adam's doesn't do...

Doing some side work-Need compound advise bad!

Hi Guys, So I've recently started taking on some side work, both solo and with a detailing friend of mine. As such, I need to expand my arsenal with some essentials. Right now I have Adam's compound in stock, but that won't make the cut (no pun intended) on some of the tougher jobs. I also have...

ok seriously how to clean dirty seams and vents in cars??

Nope, I just lay the cloth over top. That, in conjunction with some small brushes, has been all I've ever needed to clean grimy seams.

ok seriously how to clean dirty seams and vents in cars??

Compressed air! I detail my entire interior with it. Grab a thin terry cloth, clean shop rag or thin microfiber. Spray it with water, or APC if desired. Wring out most but not all of the water. Place cloth over the area and spray THROUGH the cloth into the groove. The cloth will hold the...

Need some guidance on major correction job

For sure! I think going foam seems to be the best choice due to the sheer quantity of paint that is ground off with the SS finish! Curious, you recommend M100, how well does that work with a foamie as opposed to the microfiber as it was designed for? Thanks for the recommendation! Never used...

Need some guidance on major correction job

Hi guys, I am planning a major decontamination+correction on a faded, red, 2006 Sprinter van. The front end of the vehicle (Doors forward) is a factory clear-coated paint. After doors, a factory single stage. The vehicle is covered in sap, debris, and heavily oxidized. There are also plenty...
