It should come with both, but yes, you'll want to swap out for the 1/4" quick connect. The end of your wand should already be the female quick connect coupler. Screw the male quick connect adapter into the cannon (use some Teflon tape) and then you'll easily be able to swap between the spray tip...

I have a Greenworks 1600 1.2, as well. Yes, there is a specific cannon for low pressure electrics (up to 2600 psi). When you do a search, look for the MTM Foam Cannon 14.0349. You should find a couple of places that sell it for $60. It should come with the 1/4" male quick connect adapter...

I also have the Sears black rubber hose. I use the 50ft. While it is a little heavier, it really does stand the test of time. It doesn't kink and it easy to maneuver.
