You just need to get a clay bar and go over it. It's embedded contamination in the clear coat. The Iron-X is a great start, but clay bar will pull them out. I have had a white car before and saw all these little rust spots as well.

Just wanted to follow up and thank everyone for the recommendation. The Mothers knocked it out of the park! It was super easy to use and probably less time consuming than taping all that trim up in the first place!

Go with the Mothers Back To Black Heavy Duty trim cleaner. I used it just today for this situation and it was excellent: Note that this is the CLEANER not the RESTORER. The restorer is a cover up product or for use after you have cleaned it to bring back the black

I recently took the time to use my PBL surface cleansing polish and then applied the surface coating, but noticed that there is some significant staining - white streaks on plastic trim. It seems like both the cleansing polish and surface coating create this problem and I have not found any...
