I have been using Blackfire One Step and have had no issues with pad staining or product remaining in the pads. I use Mckee's polishing pad cleaner (sold ready to use in a spray bottle) and it works great. I did try once to soak the pads in a microfiber wash to clean them and it didn't work well...
I just did exactly what you are considering. I use the G9 with a 5.5" backing plate and use my PC exclusively for 3" work. They make a great combo. The PC with the 3" pad feels very similar in power to the G9 with the 5.5". Maybe just slightly less so. My advice is to add the G9 to your...
Mike,
In your opinion is this a large upgrade over the original PC? I am starting to get back into the detailing hobby and broke out my old trusty PC. It got the job done but I did have issues with pad stalling at certain angles. Will the G9 greatly reduce this?
I have topped with Wolfgang 3.0 after allowing the one step to cure overnight. It has only been one month based on looks it appears to be doing well. It is hard to say for sure that it bonded completely considering the one step leaves a sealant that would still bead water once the Wolfgang was gone.
I had great results last weekend using Blackfire One Step. The amount of correction I got was surprising considering I was only using my old PC and LC Thin Pro white pads.
I guess what im asking is can just sanding fix these hairline cracks or should i try and pay more to have it redone right. I want it done right but i dont know enough about bondo to make this decision. Since you worked at a body shop if you had run across this situation what would you have...
I recently had a piece of road debris do some damage to my recently purchased black 2006 tahoe. When i bought it i noticed the there were some very small cracks in the paint on the hood that almost seemed like scratches they were so shallow so i didnt worry about them. Insurance is now paying...
My PC has developed a squeeking noise while spinning after very little use. I assume it just needs to be oiled or serviced but i have no idea how to go about this and would rather be told how than take it apart not knowing. Does anyone have a guide or suggestions on oiling/servicing a PC?
Please enter me into the Vac giveaway, I would love to try it out and give back an honest review of the Autobahn Max Vac! It would be so awesome to win this vac. I can definatly use it and give a great review.
Looks great. I got the System One tire shine on bogo and i love the look it gives with two coats. I also love how easily it washes out of the applicator.
That is strange. Just about any apc agitated with a stiff brush should take that off. Have you tried spraying on your apc then scrubbing it really well before you pipe with a microfiber?
