WET GLAZW 2.0 Help! I need to get my hands on more of this stuff!

I am running out of WET GLAZE 2.0 by the detail shoppe. I have NEVER run into a product like this before, and I am running out of the stuff. I went on line, and to my horror, I found out the company went belly up? Why doesn't AG pick it up. Anyone know where I can find it? Get a chemist to...

    Looking for Pad Advice.

All LC pads are great, and Buff and Shine pads are awesome as well. What really matters for DA is size: 5" for cut, 5 or 6 for polish, and 6 for finish (bigger footprint...faster, etc.)

Is The Microfiber System Good With a FLEX?

Just slow down the speed from 4.5 to 3.5 and use less pressure. If you do this it will work great.

    Topping WGDGPS

I don't think ANYTHING looks better than this sealer. The two others that might look as good are Black Fire, and the sealer by Menzerna (everything they do in compound/polish/seal is unreal). On most paints sealers like these will have more gloss and a be smoother to the touch. And these 3...

    Griots Pad Questions

I love that machine and I have never heard of that. I did not even think about the washer. Why would a missing washer do that?

Should I trade in my PC for a Megs or GG?

I have used all 4 DAs mentioned here. The Flex is a totally different animal, so it is comparing apples and oranges. I like the Meg machine better than the PC, and I like the GG more than the Meg. To me the Griots' DA is a much better machine, not only because it is more powerful, but because it...

Were these scratches too deep to remove?

Those look much too deep. And from what you wrote, it sounded like you created a heck of a lot of heat! Be glad that you did not go trough to the primer! Cut your loses now and do not go further. That is my opinion.

    A warning on "paint wrinkle"!!!

I think the lesson to be learned here is the power of the sun. We must not do this work in intense heat. In fact, best to not do it under the sun at all. Over all, however, I would be willing to bet the farm that paint wrinkles and things like this hardly ever happen with a D.A., but happen...

Have you ever messed up a customers car?

A lot of fun messages on here, but I think in the end all these stories make a good argument for using a DA whenever possible, which I would argue is always.

    A warning on "paint wrinkle"!!!

Would this have happened if you were using a DA?
