I have been also looking at that model, but it appears to have a "special pad mount" design according to Flex literature. Here's what the backing plate looks like BP-M D150 XFE/XCE - Special velcro pad, cushioned. My LC backing pads for a free spinning DA are quite different.

Good luck with getting it fixed. Even when they service it, make sure they don't just routinely run it through the scrub and swirl tunnel before delivering it back to you. I recently asked my dealership NOT to wash my vehicle after service, but they did anyway, now I'm de-swirling it :(

Well I tried a test spot with D166 since that's what I had, and voila! I wound up using a 4" LC orange CCS pad on a Flex 3401. Two sets of 6 section passes each at speed 4, and it looks about 95% new. I'll stop there as I don't know how durable the material is on these door pillars. Tomorrow...

It isn't matte, rather smooth and satin, but no substantial gloss, so I'm thinking about doing a very small test spot. Unfortunately there isn't an inconspicuous place since they're at eye level.
