I noticed a chip on my front bumper (repainted 2 years ago) that had a bubble next to it. Should I be concerned about this spreading? Any tips on preventing if so?
Yeah it’s been quite the mess. It was just front bumper and fender damage. They first tried to salvage the bumper and delivered it with a cracked bumper and cracked headlight. Then excessive orange peel. Then headlight that was not hooked up. LOL. It got exhausting after a while. Just my daily...
I had my front end repainted a couple months ago and recently noticed some bumps and divots like these.
Are these anything to be concerned about (aesthetics aside)?
Can these be corrected?
Hi all,
I occasionally touch up rock chips with Dr. Colorchip. I noticed that I had a couple of these chips that looks like there's a bit of rust.
Are you supposed to treat these somehow before touch up?
Pics are here:
Thanks guys. It's tough to see but the top part of it is white scratch line. Might try to work with that one a bit with some touch up paint just to fill and make less obvious when looking down there.
The lower part is grey/black so I'm not gonna bother with that stuff.
Lol okay thanks that makes me feel better.
This is only like 7 months in out of 3 years, so its probably going to get worse than this. This only happened from going down a driveway that had a bump at the end.
Hi all,
So I recently noticed on my wife's accord (lease...I know. Never again lol) that there's some pretty large scrapes. Nothing you'd notice until you later down under car.
Here's the worst one.
Two questions.
1. Would you recommend wet sanding to clean it up? I'm really just trying to...
Thanks for the wax suggestions! The Ultimate Liquid Wax looks like a good option. I'm going to give it a shot.
Our color is a pain keep clean, but when it's clean it's freaking beautiful!
It's a 2014 Mazda6 and Mazdas are generally known for soft paint so i try to be careful. On the hood I applied it really thick, which was obviously a dumb move. But I'm an amature with waxing :/.
