    Hoping to fix my mistake!

Whelp, the holograms are definitely being caused my the rotary polisher. They don't seem to be as prominent this time around though. I will try again with a DA. It might just be a side effect of trying to polish glass???

    Hoping to fix my mistake!

I couldn't quite get the angle to see if the holograms on my truck are gone but I was able to get a shot of the water spots on my wife's car. You can see where the spots stop at the top of the glass. I didn't want to get too close to the edge at first. This didn't take much time at all with...

    Hoping to fix my mistake!

I bought some "water spot remover" from an ad on Facebook a while back. At first I was excited because the water spots did come out! However, my application method yielded some holograms on all of my windows. I used a hand-held rotary polisher with a foam pad. You can see the defects in this...

    Polishing passenger window

Any updates? I recently screwed up my all of my windows using something I thought would work to remove water spots. I have purchased the CeriGlass and LC rayon pads. I will be making a thread soon...

What are you using in your Tornador?

So far my best results are with plain water. I presoak the area with D101 or D108 depending on the stain then hit it with water. I'll use a brush to agitate if the stain is stubborn.

    How to apply glaze?

Do you apply the glaze before or after the wax? I have some Menzerna Top Finish machine glaze that I'm dying to try Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Does anyone here (besides me) not use grit guards?

I use them and I know there's no guarantee all the dirt is sinking to the bottom, but I also use them to scrub my wash pad during wash rinse. I even bought the new wash board to go in the rinse bucket. As stated above, it's cheap insurance. Especially for someone new since most places sell them...

    Bug removal?

I currently use dryer sheets but recently got one of the "bug sponges" and I am eager to try. As far as the dryer sheet marring the paint, I feel the threat is more from the bugs themselves with ALL of these methods mentioned here. I don't believe there is a single product that can fully soften...

Meguiar's Super Degreaser or..... Simple Green

+1 for Meguiar's Super Degreaser! I use it 10:1 on my tires and wheel wells! I also dip my brushes in a bucket of soapy water to get nice and sudsy!
