What pad/compound for glass cleaning and headlight polishing?

Hi Todd, so you are recommending blue pad + blue compound for glass? Or am I ok with the yellow+yellow? I have the whole range, so I can use whatever is the best for glass prep. Thanks

What pad/compound for glass cleaning and headlight polishing?

I just bought Rupes 75e mini and the whole range of Rupes pads and compounds. (All 4 colors except UHS). Can I use any of these pad/compounds for glass cleaning before coating application? I don't want to polish it - too messy - just to clean it from water spots you know. And the second...

    How to wipe compound correctly

OK, so I should wipe the residue by dry towel, and then Erase/Ipa before coating with another towel again. Correct? BTW do you guys wipe after every section, or after lets say every panel? For example, one door would be 5 sections - then also I wash polishing pad. Is it better to wipe then (you...

    How to wipe compound correctly

Hello guys, before my 1st polishing job things seems clear to me except one thing. How to wipe residue correctly? I have MM Yellow Fellows 2.0 and other MFs. After lets say the 1st step, should I wipe with YF2.0 DRY and then wipe wet with IPA/Eraser with another towel, or do you spray the...

    rupes 12e vs 15es

Have these Rupes pads on them? I am in a market for my first polisher(s), and for me one of the greatest parameter is low vibration and comfortable use, since I am very sensitive to that and don't want to walk with vibrating hands for a two days after occasional polishing. i want mini + 12E...

Chemical LSP removal other than Griot's Paint Prep?

^this. Thank you for your tips. I like Iron X, I like Tar X, I don't like Trix. And also, this would be quite expensive solution too. Thanks anyway, nothing is available here to, so I will import a few bottles of Paint Prep probably from our neighbors.

Removing dust after the car was driven from washing to polishing

I thought that QD is leaving things behind, so I would be probably better with waterless wash... I just have to find anything that is pure as possible and leave nothing behind I guess.

Removing dust after the car was driven from washing to polishing

I should be more specific maybe, the problem is not the water but the Watter Pollution. It is a law thing and I cannot use any water if I don't have a water purifier which is mega expensive.

Chemical LSP removal other than Griot's Paint Prep?

Thanks, but I checked all of them except "gyon prep" that I can't find and it seems all of them are a bit different product I am looking for.

Chemical LSP removal other than Griot's Paint Prep?

I believe pre-wax cleaners are more for using after polishing, and what I need is paint prep/cleaner, whatever confusing different names are used. I don't want to the product to be removing minor swirls etc, just to remove old wax and sealant, that is all. Griot's paint prep is not sold in my...

Removing dust after the car was driven from washing to polishing

Guys, I have a situation. I can wash-to-clay a car on one place, but I have to polish it on an another, which involves about 5km drive. As I know this scenario is not perfect, trust me, I can't do anything about it. On this polish-area there is NO water supply. The problem is, that when I will...

Chemical LSP removal other than Griot's Paint Prep?

Guys, if I want to remove any existing LSP (except coating) by a chemical way - NOT by polishing - what other products I can use besides Griot's Paint Prep? I simply want a product to use on cars I have no history and to just be safe in general before re-applying a new LSP. It seems that...
