:iagree: Definitely. I cut my polishing teeth on my 17 year old Civic with paint that defies any and all attempts to damage it. That gave me the skills and confidence to next tackle my daily driver (2008 Accord). Polishing out my newer car gave me confidence to start polishing cars for family...

The 3M Swirl Mark Remover may have also broken down over the years. Best check it's consistency. I'm guessing it's probably watery after all these years.

Flood rinse the car. It sounds counter-intuitive, but flood rinsing has the effect of sheeting most of the water off the surface of your finish. Follow that up with a leaf blower or air compressor and then use water magnets to blot up the rest. I also use small squares of Sham Wow and insert...

Some compounds or cleaner polishes can stain trim and rubber. Heavy compounds can scratch or dull plastic chrome and cause clouding on metal trim. But the best rule of thumb is when in doubt, tape it up. :xyxthumbs:

I don't own a Cyclo, but saw this Craigslist ad (San Diego, CA) last year. I still have the ad because I emailed it to someone whom I knew would be interested in it. I don't know if he bought it, but I'm sure it's long gone by now. Anyway, I think it speaks volumes of the Cyclo's durability...

Another caution on the soft nature of Honda paint. I have a 2008 Accord with Royal Blue Pearl, I believe Honda's 2nd darkest color after Nighthawk Black Pearl. I completed a full correction recently using my G110v2, polishing pads and M205. A few days after the polishing, I started noticing...
