I completely agree with the above. I also tried the Chemical Guys V-line and their Hex-Logic pads and failed miserably. I switched to Menz FG400 and LC Hydrotech pads, and the results were AMAZING. Not all pads/products are created equal, and certain compounds & polishes will react...
LC Hydrotech pads work great with Menzerna compounds and polishes because these products are water-based and thats exactly what the pads were designed for.
Are you doing it in that exact order? If so, it seems like you might be using 205 & 105 in the wrong order. You should be using 105 to correct, and 205 to finish.
I use LC Hydrotech pads because the compounds/polishes I use are all water-based. I have them in both 5.5" and 4". I guess the 5.5" Hydrotechs would be considered "flat," but the 4" Hydrotechs are by no means flat, they are very thick.

:iagree:
I have the same condition on my 2011 Mercedes. I would also describe as them as little "pinholes" or "tiny craters" (sound right?)
In my opinion, BlackHawk is 100% right. If there are any sections on this car you have not corrected yet, look very, VERY closely at the paint...
