Would clear coat burn be obvious?

where was the scratch located on the vehicle, a crease or just on open panel? how long did you compound in that spot for and how many times? To check and see if your clear is compromised, I would first do a inspection with a light in a dark room to see if there is any hot spots or anything not...

    Ceramic coating failing??

I only say sanding in the case that he has a coating like crystal serum that wont remove with just a polish. Other than that i wouldn't touch sandpaper.

    Ceramic coating failing??

if it was me, I would try essence plus and see if that will knock any of that out (without removing your coating). If not, i would just completely polish or sand if needed, and reapply again. I would assume its not your clear coat, but it never hurts to be extra cautious if your clear happens to...

    Polishing newly painted panel

Smart approach. I would stick with that. Its a professional way to look at body repair and body matching. 90% of the time you can tell a textured panel from a non textured panel. It would almost be like comparing a shiny shoe and and a dull shoe. One will always stand out more than the other...

    Polishing newly painted panel

There's only a small percentage of shops that have the expertise to spray no orange peel, it takes a very good painter. 80% of the time you are wet sanding to match other panels, and if your not you're either really good or you matched the orange peel when you painted. It's also unrealistic to...

    Crappy water

Let me rephrase that, i buy it and deliver it to my own house. I fill up two 55 gallon drums and then i back my truck up on some ramps to elevate my truck higher than the tank, and then i am able to siphon the water out easily. saves me 140+ for a delivery charge. You can also transfer the water...

    Crappy water

I use RO water to wash all my vehicles. Ever since using it i will never go back. I have a 300 gallon tank at my house that i fill up with RO water that i buy locally for about .18 cents a gallon. I chose to do this because if i were to buy a RO filter system, i would be spending way to much...

    Polishing newly painted panel

you would sand a freshly painted panel to take out the orange peel sprayed and get rid of the "trash" in the paint, or even to texture match to a existing panel. different grits leave different texture/orange peel. Also waxing a fresh panel is not recommended as the panel will not be able to gas...

So basically everybody just puts on CSl and then EXO and doesn't put any topper over EXO after?

    Crystal Serum Light

Does anybody top CSl and EXO with carpro reload? if not, what kind of topper do y'all use? Not really to sure if anybody does. Any suggestions and feedback would be great.
