How do you handle people who like to be sticklers but are also customers?

I'm in the same boat (car guy/hobbyist) and it can be difficult dealing with uneducated people. They think 50$ gets them the world. Another huge thing, the average person has a different view of a "clean car". To them, as long as its has no dirt, and tire shine it is clean. To us, if it has no...

How do you handle people who like to be sticklers but are also customers?

I've been able to sway people by physically showing them what i have to do to the vehicle. Especially when it comes to any paint protection packages or correction. Most guys are really surprised by how much actually goes into it, other than just applying some wax and then buffing it off. Tons...

You're going to have to go to M100 or M101 on a MF pad to get close to it working, and thats a long shot still

Yeah, unfortunately those polishes don't remove 1500 grit sanding marks. Youre going to have to go back with a finer grit paper, and THEN a polish with those after.

Getting back into personal car care

I use clean slate (2-4oz) with 2oz of CG APC added to it, and it seems to break down most waxes/sealants fairly evenly. You can use dawn, just need to mix it with some car shampoo or APC to give it some lubricity. A polish pad with some Megs 205 will take down 99% of anything left on the car, if...

Thats a bit aggressive with no other sanding/polishing. Those scratches youre seeing are from the sandpaper. You need to refine them with some 2500 grit, then a polish. My noob 2 cents, anyways

    New Car 1st Detail

i'd be hard pressed to believe that something with any natural caranuba in it, will last a full calender year

    Pressure washer vs. Regular sprayer

I use my PW on the vinyl siding more than the car lol

    Crush Auto Care

I've been getting a ton of Facebook ads related to products, and have never seen this brand. when googled doesnt directly reverse search back to chemical guys but the CG website is the first to come up when you type in "crush auto care relabel". Bottles and sprayers look identical. Color of...

    Pressure washer vs. Regular sprayer

Ease of use, will probably be the number 1 reason. Its just far easier for me to turn on the spigot and spray the car off. Rather than pull the PW out, check the oil, check the gas level, start it up and have it running for 15-20 minutes while i spray off. I would rather pair it with a foam...

CG Glassworkz CG Signature Glass Cleaner CG V34, i don't understand the point of it, if it doesnt finish like a polish Back To Black(the HD trim cleaner isnt bad) CG InstaWax, it left overspray spots everywhere and its kinda pricey FlyBy30 from CarPro CG Diablo wheel gel, just because of price...

Send me that trim gel! Lol I agree with most of the rest, their Glass cleaners are not good at all. And diablo wheel gel is quite overpriced, their blue wheel cleaner is what i use and it seems to work pretty good for a liquid style rim cleaner.
