Guys let me throw another monkey wrench in. What about a Griots G15 or G21 incomparison to the Flex and Rupes? Would one of these we a great combination along with a GG6 or Porter Cable? Just didnt see any love for the G15 or G21 mentioned
I know this is going to be solely based on opinions but what do you currently use that is the most fragrant upholstery and carpet cleaner? Some of the APC's just don't leave such a great smell behind and neither do some of the dedicated carpet cleaners. So lets hear some of your suggestions.
I like IronX but after one bottle of it, I just couldn't stomach the smell to purchase another. I think Meguiars D140 Wheel Brightner works great for wheels to remove everything and I use Stoners Bug/Tar Remover or Meguiars Bug/ Tar remover.
Flex was out of my budget as well and could not pass up this opportunity to own a nice Dewalt. The guy that I bought it from, used it once and gave me 2 wool pads with it. One new and the other pad trashed. The used one looked like he buffed rubber or something. The pad was stiff as a board...
Just had a thought here- Has anyone ever used a paint thickness gauge and tested the paint before and after applying a ceramic coating? Is there really a 'layer' of production on the paint and if so is the paint gauge able to determine the thickness? I would think there would be a mil or two...
