My first paid show car detail.....advice needed!

Yeah, just inspect it and if its clean I definately would not clay....no sense in adding another step amd potentially creatimg more work for you. Seal it up and do not forget the final buff on the top. You dont want pollen and dust stickimg to the uncured product or running down the car in the...

need help on heavy oxidized 1995 javelin

if you dont have a rotary, arent comfortable with it or dont want to buy one then a wool pad on your PC is an absolute must. Dont waste your time with foam if its heavily oxidated. I use the LC Purple Foam Wool pad, its wonderful. If you can pull it inside a garage to avoid the heat amd wind...

Christmas Detail - Ferrari P4 - Move over Rudolf

This is a shame really. The people that "dust" these cars shoukd be trained from the get-go. They probabke even used window cleaner to remove finger prints and such. I guess they coukd always have them polished but these vintages beauties only have so much paint. How many times can it be...

Christmas Detail - Ferrari P4 - Move over Rudolf

I would love to know what that is even like lol. I know what you mean though, trying to buff a rocker panel is my most dreaded part so my hat is definitely off to you, polishing paint is sometimes a loooong and extremely tedious task. Yeah, you may have one leg supporting you but you...

Christmas Detail - Ferrari P4 - Move over Rudolf

I was directed here from another thread....glad I was. This is what you call candy coated, good grief it looks like the paint is "flowing". Amazing work! What made you decide to finish out with the G110 vs the Flex? Pad size selection or the non forced rotation maybe? :)

How long should it take to detail a car???

Re: How long should it take??? Another thing that always takes time away from the actual detail is needing to clean their clothes, gym bags, books, garbage or whatever out before you start. This irritated me to the point that I started charging $25 if I had to pull their junk out of the...

One of the Best Brushes I have used. Guess what type it is

Yep, I love it. Bristles are a perfect length and soft. Its constructed really well considering I havent lost a bristle yet. It lathers better than any brush I have ever used including my SV brushes. I keep the bands around it to keep its shape after washing.

    Question on machine waxing

Are you adding pressure to the pad while applying? When waxing you dont need pressure, only slower arm speed.

How much does it cost to be fully mobile?

This is what I do and it works really well. It's not as conservative with the product though. Maybe another nozzle would eliminate that.
